Back on track

Arsenal were victorious against Chelsea over the weekend.  Arsenal struggled in the beginning.  Lampard's goal was disappointing and John Terry's goal was infuriating.  But in the second half Arsenal pulled it together.  Ironically Arsenal's win coincided with the English media  saying there isn't any tackling in the modern game.  Robin Van Persie had a fantastic game.  We get to see him uninhibited by long injury spells.
The Marseille Champions League game performance was probably a hang over from Saturday's game.  The game did feature Park Chu-Young Champions League debut.  Unfortunately his performance wasn't very good.
No Arsenal rant this post.  We Arsenal didn't beat Chelsea, it's more like Chelsea didn't really want to win the game.
Saturday was my first football marathon of the season.  The beginning was the Arsenal v. Chelsea. The caught the end of the United v. Everton.  Then I watched most of the boring Man City Wolverhampton game. Then moved to the Milan Roma.  The caught the end of the Paris Saint Germain game.  Then was the Barcelona v. Mattorca and the Liverpool and West Brom game. Then I watched the Juventus v. Inter and the excellent Lyon v. Saint Ettienne game. Then the Real Madrid v. Real Sociedad and the Santos game.  In all I saw hat tricks from Robin Van Persie, Lionel Messi and Neymar.  Every match up was really good.  Besides the Arsenal game, I think the Lyon Saint Ettienne game was probably the best.  After Lyon had a man sent off for an incredible challenge in that the force of the challenge the ball popped.  The overall tackle was pretty bad and sending him off was a good decision.  In all the new computer is working fantastically.
